Welcome to Dashmesh Khalsa College

Dashmesh Khalsa College has set up the Red Ribbon Club which is a movement initiated by the Government of India in educational institutions through which students will be able to spread awareness about HIV / AIDS. Its aim is to inculcate charity-mind among students to come forth and extend a helping hand towards cultivating healthy life styles and donating blood to those in need by promoting voluntary blood donation on a regular basis. Its objective is also to create awareness and to develop the spirit among youth to support and help people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) thereby decreasing the stigma and discrimination against PLHWAs. The club also seeks to encourage youth and develop their potential as peer educators and change agents by enhancing their skills on leadership, negotiation and team building.
